If all these Tdi chips are so great, why are people always selling them?
- Confused, non-remapped Tdi owner. |

Me & dad have finally had an hour spare to get this into his V70 and sadly it doesn't fit. His has 4 rows of pins (on the main sets of connections) and this has 3.
Unfortunately I have to offer this back up for sale, £50 posted (I don't wish to lose/make from it).

Do you know if this would work on a 1998 S70 2.5 tdi auto?

If your car is MSA 15.7 then I believe so.
To check before buying, although it will take time, take your existing ECU out and look at the (main rows of) pins. If you have 3 rows, then this is likely to fit, my dad's had 4 rows, 2 pairs divided by plastic tabs - see pic, yours needs to look like the one on the left. Sadly sec1223 has the same problem as my dad's V70, it's the 15.8 system, so the unit is still available.
