Default Grayston Spring Assister's

Finally found somewhere that sells them, just got one (or two) questions to ask, i tow about once a fortnight some times once a week, once i have fitted the spring assister do i leave it fitted or take them out when i'm not towing, do they affect the handling when i'm not towing ?

Hi there,
I have no personal experience using them personally and thus can only pass on what i have heard, but as i understand it if you opt for the internal spring assisters (coils than sit inside the main sus coil) you simply leave them in once fitted as they are progressively wound, so only provide resistance when under load.

If its the standard coil sping assisters (rubber rings)just leave them in as they don't affect handling of the car.
Used them for years and they do as stated on the box.
