1995 850 T5 GLT Auto Est Spares or Repair
For Spares or Repairs my 1995 850 T5 Automatic Estate in Metallic Green.
Open to Offers over £500, Buyer will need to collect, 15m North of Newcastle. This car runs well, but will not pass an MOT without work (details below) and I just can not afford to repair it, it has been in our family since new, being my brothers company car before I had it and has never been modified or thrashed. It is not in pristine condition with a few scrapes and a little bit of rust but is fantastic for 14 years old! the MOT tester had no worries about structure (I will attempt to link some photos if possible) Black Leather and wood trim interior with built in kiddie seat and no tears, load cover, towbar and electrics fitted, 4 x Michelin Pilot Exalto tyres on OEM alloy wheels, 2 with plenty of life left, 2 legal but not for too long (2.5mm) Climate control no longer cools below ambient, No Tax, SORN declared, parked off road, MOT expires 11 Sept 2009, 133526 Miles. The ABS/Tracs failed a couple of years ago and was resurrected using a rebuilt ABS ECU and the Volvo "patch" kit to the sensors so these parts are available on the vehicle. I have had it pre-MOT'd by a local garage who have looked after it for the past few years and list below the work they require for it to pass MOT: Middle Section and Back Box of exhaust; Rear Pads and Discs (and possibly handbrake shoes); N/S/F Shocker; N/S/F Bottom Arm; O/S/F Wheel Bearing; They estimated £700 for the repairs including parts but I guess an enthusiast could DIY it for rather less. In addition to the work required for the MOT the car has an engine oil leak which will need attention unless you like your drive messy! Or someone might just want to use it for parts, I realise that I could make more breaking it but just dont have the time or inclination! |

You want over £500 for a 14/15 year old car that for want of a week has got no tax no mot needs £700 ? spent on it, and on top of that there is body damage , rust and the engine is leaking oil.
LOL yeah right .

He seemed to think that a moderate mileage T5 with 12m MOT for £1200 was worth it. |
