Nottingham meet Sunday 10th May

As per advert on page 11 of last Driver magazine, a reminder of a meet on Sunday 10th May. At Nottingham Transport Heritage Centre. A transport rally is being held on the day, also DAF owners club and Jaguar /Lanchester coming so should be a good display. Half price admission to all Volvo drivers & passengers.

Large model rail layout steam & diesel running over 700 metres of track 5" & 7" gauge on site.

Large country park adjacent with excellent kid's play ground.

Sorry I couldn't make it in the end, guys. I had an extra-long lie-in, and putting Ryan's M90 back in took longer than we hoped. On the plus side, I have just used a spare hour to get my 164 running

Thanks to every one who came to this meeting. Some people had travelled a considerable distance and I hope they thought it was worthwhile, certainly something for everyone on this site and the Country Park next door.
A great variety of cars, 24 in all. From memory we had amongst others:

1 PV, 2 Amazons, 2 C30, 1 144, 1 240, 2 S40, 1 440, 2 S70, 1 V70, 1 940, 1 740,
1 850, 2 S60 and to top it all 2 1800 & 2 1800 ES. All cars looked splendid.

And one 300 series who snook past the Volvos and made up the numbers for the DAF contingent !

Looking forward to next year !
