Default Speaker - Centre Dash?

Hi all,

Anyone know if I can connect a speaker to this connection?

If so, where could I purchase it??

Thanks

At the risk of you buying one that I want to try, then the answer is yes. However, from what I can tell, you'll need to use vdash to enable the centre speaker, otherwise I don't think the system will use it. There is the chance that none of the vdash audio options will actually work, and will have cost you to try, but them's the breaks. I don't think there was ever a centre speaker option for a non premium audio setup, but I do know that vdash has an option for a 5 speaker audio. You in theory could enable the premium audio, and see if that then works ok, but remember to not choose the subwoofer option unless you install that as well. I will look forward to bidding against you when a cheap enough centre speaker comes up at auction to play with !!

did you read my post regarding vdash ???

if you're not ok with going any further using vdash, let me have the speaker (if it's the right one, and not just a bodge job), and I'll try it out in my car - although if it works, it's not coming out again !!

I was more so referring to asking someone to help them out no prey on their misfortune!
Shame on you.

I gave the guy the way to try it, he's not responded, so why get on your high horse. Also, using vdash is a very long-winded process, and not something someone else can actually do for you - so there is actually no way of "helping out"

My offer is a sensible, unselfish offer - I am prepared to spend the money on the vdash software upgrade (I've already spent £80 on the dice device) to try to see if it works - I'm taking all the risk, and simply asking that he supply the speaker, and be happy knowing a) if it doesn't work, and b) if it does, how to do it - all for the cost of the speaker.

I think you should have checked things out before having a go at me !!!

I know the topic is from 2020, but I'd like to ask Jeff for a clarification about this.
What does it change? The story is: I installed Premium Sound amplifier and a center speaker. Then I have had the configuration installed... but I asked to enable the subwoofer, although I don't have it (yet). The center speaker is not working. Now the question for you is - are these two things connected? In sound options I can manipulate the volume of the subwoofer and the center speaker, so the configuration seemed fine.
I'm pulling my hair out figuring out why I can't get my center speaker to work, as it does not receive any signal.
