Hi all, Recently I could smell fumes in the car when I put the radiator on. Upon further inspection I found that the air intake hose had perished away and other part had become unclipped. I've ordered a new unit but I've had a look but the clip I need to get off I haven't seen before and I'm not sure how to remove it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks 👍🏻

I've put a few more pics in of what my issues are but it's the first pic I'm after info on. Cheers 👍🏻

Hi, I have removed/replaced a few hose clips, (EGR valve..) the hose clamp plier you might need is the one in the picture attached. It is very useful to have it. Even with a normal plier or a screwdriver you can remove it if you plan to replace the hose clip, but you will struggle.

They're called Oetiker Clamps if you want to replace with the same.
Other hose clamp methods not requiring special tools work just as well.
