Facelift/Pre-facelift Front Wings
Hi all, just wandered are the front wings different between facelift and pre-facelift S40's. I've fitted a drivers side wing to my 2010, from I believe a 2006/2007 S40. The headlight doesn't fit flush against the wing across the top and back edge, approximately 5-10mm gap. The car was going to have some paintwork but want to sort this first before I take it for repair.
Thank you in advance |

That's very interesting, as far as I know the wings and headlights never changed - only the bumper design and rear light clusters changed around the facelift time.
Be interesting to see what others say.....

Hi Welton thanks for your reply, I think you're right I think the front wings are the same, when I bought the car I downloaded a Volvo price list manual that has all the part numbers, when I checked the wing part number and its says from 2004- which I'm guessing is from 2004 to the end of the run for that S40 range, as opposed to when I was checking headlights that would say 2004-2007 and 2007-
