WTB Volvo 360 anything considered
Afternoon all,
I've been looking for a while & no such luck so far. If anybody can point me in the direction of anything id be much appreciated. Ideally after a 360GLT 3door hatch or GLT 4door saloon, but open to look at the other specs. My dad has had loads in the past and I guess that's what's drawing me to want one. Also learnt the other day that my grandad bought a black GLT 4door saloon from new back in the day. Im located in Bournemouth & have £1500-2000 to spend. Cheers |

Hi John, I think your too far away for me to entertain - Yorkshire? Out of interest what would you want for it & any pics if it's easy. Don't worry if not. Thing with living on South coast, everything is miles away! Cheers |

That's cheap for a 9k mile car! These cars are getting very rare now and prices are on the up so you are going to have to be prepared to spend good money on a decent one.
Being an 89 it will be the lower compression engine. |

I'm pretty sure it's 90k miles. Still rather low for the year. What do you mean low compression variety, That good or bad? It's hard to find good info on the spec varients. Early 360s had the B19 & late the B200?? More info gathered on the hunt is great. Thanks

85 and 86 are high compression 10:1 b200 87, 88 and 89 are b200 with a lower compression (can't remember exactly what) I have only driven 84, 85 and 86 so I don't know what a layer 360 is like. Another thing is the later they are the lesser the rust protection quality. I took the wings off my 86 and the rust protection spray had a decent covering, I took them off an 89 car and it was patchy dribbles. |
