I went from a Laguna to the T4 S40 a few years ago and never looked back.
The boot isn't as big, obviously, but big enough I think. It has a wide opening, but not great height. Wide enough to get me golf clubs in without taking out the driver! We've also got a young daughter and have managed holidays with all the kit - pushchair, travel cot, highchair, loads of bags etc .
So much more fun than the Laguna - enjoy...

I went on holiday with my sister+brother in law + their 2 young children last week.... while we were there their Fiat Marea estate broke down so we had to use my S40 T4 to carry everyone - managed to fit 3 adults and 2 children in child seats + a pushchair in the boot (just about) - although I did draw the line at carrying the muddy labrador as well....

right ok I get it you said

[QUOTE=Buck Jonson;164463fraid the estate equals married with children :{
for a single guy like me i went for the s40.[/QUOTE]

I think you'll find the V40 far superior for lots of things a single lad would like to do !!!
