Lightbulb '00 C70 Double din stereo adapter

Greetings all!

Just bought a lovely V reg C70 T5 coupe. Already missing my mod cons from more modern cars. So my question is can anyone point me in the right direction to buy a fascia adapter/cable fitting kit for a double din, sat nav iPod stereo? Had a look on eBay/Google but can only seem to find single din. Also do the amps etc work with aftermarket?

There's really good sound as standard but I don't listen to radio and can't cope with a 3cd changer!

Many thanks

Hi,
You won't need a facia if you buy a double din stereo. You will need the stereo cable adapter though, you can get these from Amazon. You will need x2. At least I did as I used the pre existing 100w amp and the speakers. If you have the Dolby speaker in the dash, that won't be used.
You will have to cut the plastic slide rails out to get the new stereo to fit, if you have a Dremel then it's quick work. The Pioneer double din I bought had the metel insert "frame". Just slide that in the slot, bend the tabs to keep it in place, the the stereo fits in and locks into place. Looks and sounds great. Good luck, trust me it's not hard to do.
