Unexpected switching from LPG to Petrol
Help (again) please.Car now running on LPG following fitting of replacement stepper motor. Problem now is that switches to petrol for no apparent reason. The LPG technician that fitted the replacement stepper motor spent a couple of hours setting everything up and road testing but only fault coming up on code reader is P0037 which relates to faulty rear lambda sensor. Would the failure of this sensor cause this to happen. He tested it with three different code readers plus Bosch diagnostic tool. All gave the same problem. Any advice/help please.

Sorry to hear but pleased the stepper I sent you from my stash works. The rear Lambda usaully only controls the CEL, if I get a mo' I'll do some digging. Did you resolve the issue, i see thsi was posted nearly three weeks back.

Hi - It cured itself after filling with gas. I am guessing the rear lambda sensor is still faulty and will get this checked when back in UK in a few weeks. But since filling with gas have had no further problems and can honestly say that the car is running better than ever.
