Exclamation fuel injection fuse

My '93 240 has a 16amp fuse in position 6, two red wires leading from it and shown on legend as fuel injection & fuel pump. No obvious sign of separate fuse near battery.

Regards, Richard VOC 3801

Models varied around the Jetronic 2.4 and 3.1 but bisically the main supply came via the fuel pump relay from fuse 6 on the inner fuse panel passenger side. However some versions even of the 2.4 as mine does also has a fuse in the engine compartment immediately off the battery terminal. What is your problem. It may be a fuel pumpm relay problem as this powers the Injectoer, idle control valve and Air Mass Meter. Regards Peter

it doesnt make any difference how much fuel is in there, tank pump seems to be working.
runs better at speed and full acceleration, worse when slowing and driving in traffic.
