240 GL drivers mirror glass

Im looking for 240 GL driver side mirror glass
local car parts say they cant get em Im sure thats not correct and there being Lazy but has any one got some going spare

plus whats the black paint on the mirrors is it owt special

Parts for Volvo do the 'stick-on' replacement glass jobs still. Got one for my 240 & one for 850 witihn the last 18 months:

Not sure what the paint is, but T-cut and elbow grease followed by a bit of wax will see 'em good.

unfortunatly its down to salty finish aluminium so T- cut and elbow greas wont fix it needs paint

Does anyone know if GLT ellectric mirrors will fit straight onto my GL would there be a plug in for them or is it a big job making them work ?
