Default "New" engine, now Emissions Service Light

Hi all. I have an 01 S60 T5, with an MTE Remap, custom IC and exhaust; all in all it was quite a machine until a conrod bent

Anyhow, I had another engine sourced from Salvo dropped in and now I have all sorts of problems...

I have the ECU light come on and a "Emissing Service" message on the dash. The car is wayyyyyyy down on power, the idle is now high and sometimes up to 1400rpm...

There are also some other stange issues, for example if I hold the brake and attempt to blip the throttle it will not let me (heel toeing is no longer possible!).

Now I have the following codes after a reset: ECM531D (transmission control module, strange, mines a manual...)
ECM6806: Turbo control fault and ECM262A: Long term fuel trim...

Now, one thing the mechanic mentioned is the timing on the "new" engine was very slack, so i suggest he replace the cambelt. He also mentioned that the timing on the new exhaust cam may be different to the one before...

ANy help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
James

When u swapped the engines over did you put your etm on if not then that might be the problem as yours is coded to the car and the other one might will not be that might throw up codes. the transsmition one might be a loose wire or bad connection

It actually bent when it wasn't on the power... It bent as I lifted off the throttle at the same time the traction control kicked in. Very weird. The car had done well over 60k with the MTE map and the previous owner had moved over from a BSR so to be honest I don't blame the map. I'm very impressed with the dyno charts and all the data logging I have done indicates no nastys like boost spikes etc. (I'm not sponsored by MTE, i'm just impressed with it)

And it was a naked engine that went in, no ancilliaries were new...
