Default Volvo V70 engine stalling

Hi, I am a newbie and after some advice.

The engine in my V70 2.4 petrol (2004) tends to drop in RPM whilst braking or coming off the throttle, sometimes it stalls. My garage that services it suggests it is a dirty inlet to the throttle body. I have cleaned the throttle body air way and the proplem still exists. I am wondering if I have a faulty sensor or throttle pot calibration issue?

Anyone had a similar experience?

Cheers
Ian

"I have cleaned the throttle body air way "

The important part to clean is the gap between the flap and the side of the throttle body when closed, this usually requires removal from the car, did you do this?
