Tempa Spare Wheel no longer available?

Nothing - I have an R-Design and it was supplied with the Tempa spare wheel as a no cost option, as specified at the time of ordering.

Mine has the standard 18" wheels, however I believe that in some markets (US for instance), the R-Design is supplied with the 20" wheels as standard. Maybe there is some incompatability between the Tempa Spare wheel and 20" rims???

Someone on here is bound to know!

Two ideas:
- Does the R-design do something else with the spacesaver stowage area?
- The XC60 spacesaver is of smaller diameter than the XC60 wheels and relatively highly loaded even for a spacesaver. These things may possibly result in incompatibility for the R Design.

I guess before the tempa option was removed it was a no cost option for all XC60's?

It is rather puzzling that you can order it albeit at a cost now for non R Design?

Yep it has the space saver wheel/ tyre

That's because it was not built after July 4th when the tempa wheel is no longer available as a no cost option!

Hope you enjoy the car, I have to wait a bit longer for mine and unfortunately it is being made after the tempa cut off date.

If they really wanted to, they could fit in a KERS flywheel, electric motors and a fullsize sparewheel.
