v70 reverse parking sensors

hi everybody new to this site but i am having a problem with my reverse parking sensors on my volvo v70 2003 d5.i have recently installed a new radio cd player and now my parking sensors wont work.does anybody know what might be the problem.or do i need to take it to a volvo dealer.thanks...

I think you may find the parking sensors sound through the original radio via the car's CAN network, replacing the original radio will be cause of the problem.
