940 lost code for radio
Hi all,
I have another post that looks like im trying to nick something! I aquired a 940SE estate which has a radio/tape head unit but I because I disconnected the battery I now need a code to turn the radio on which I dont have. Any way to reset/bypass the security code. Will a Volvo dealer be able to help. Cheers David |

Provided it is the original radio unit then any Volvo dealer should be able to get the code for you. You will need to supply the reg. no. and that should be all. Some dealers do this as a freebie, others charge £10.00 'admin fee'. You could always contact the previous owner to see if they remember/have a record of the code. Do you have the user manual? Some owners put the code into that booklet.
