dipstick dilema

noooooooooo.....it snapped off aargggggg..

the plastic ring snapped off the dipstick and iv no idea how long it should be?.

does anyone know the actual length of the dipstick from the shoulder to the tip so i can try and bodge something.

if i can find out what the length is, i can goto my local scrappys and get one to fit and alter it myself.

someone must have a tdi they can measure the dipstick on?????

no idea tbh...

mines a diesel so i should think the ds will be a different size?
