240 Turbo Metering Head/ Fuel Dist
Hi all, first post here!
Am looking for a 240 turbo metering head as pic attached - probably not as new looking though Thanks |

the 240 Turbo was not sold in uk so unlikely to find one here , but what about the 260 / 760 V6 one? It looks very similar ...

oh right! you've got me there!
was the 260 a 4 or 6 pot - can't seem to get ready answer from google!? gotta be honest here - it's actually an old school trick for increasing kjet fuelling on veedub mkII golfs which run lean at high revs - one i've never tried before :/ i could always blank the unwanted feeds off the 760 one will do further research but if anyone has something similar to pic would be keen to view! |

The 260 was a V6 with the same 6 outlet distributor in your picture . Obviously the 240 Turbo needed more fuel so Volvo raided the parts bin and used the 6 cylinder one with 2 ports blanked off .
The 760 V6 used it too until 1988 .

yeh thanks, am keeping my eyes on ebay
there's actually a 240t on american ebay, but don't fancy getting hit for postage and import duty |
