V50 Powershift problem?

My V50 Engine light, ABS light, anti skid warning etc etc are lit. Sometimes when driving away it stays in first gear, take the foot off the throttle and back on again and it's OK. I have cleared all of the warning lights only for them to come back on again a short time later. Disconnected the battery for about ten minutes then reconnected, same problem. Now the drivers side window is no longer 'one touch' have to hold the switch down. I haven't got much hair left to pull out now.
Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to go to a 'proper' Volvo garage if I can help it due to cost.

The Powershift gearbox oil was changed about eight years ago. How often should it be changed? and is this part of the problem?

Probably worth changing the transmission fluid. I don't know what kind of mileage you do, but its probably a good idea to change it every few years to be on the safe side (8 years is a bit too long I think).

Its guess work without diagnostics. Really it needs to be plugged in to see what's going on. Although, as it appears to be a shifting problem, the trans fluid would be a start.

Thanks, just had a quote for changing oil at £350 for full service from a so called gearbox expert.. Don't know if he means full car service or gearbox service. I didn't speak to him myself.
