Unhappy D4 VEA, Volvo v60 boost hose issues

As the title suggests I’m experiencing some issues with boost hoses.

The cars been through three recently as I need to keep it on the road and I just can’t for the life of me figure out why I it keeps connecting/colliding/rubbing on the subframe of the car.

I’ve already tried changing pretty much ALL the engine mounts (except one on the timing side of the engine.

I will try and update the thread with photographs where it is connecting but for now I’ll add a diagram of the pipe in question.

Strange , are you using genuine Volvo hoses? is the subframe bent?

Hard to tell if subframe is bent, I doubt it is as I haven’t had any bumps in the car in the last 2 years of ownership and the issue only really crept recently. Original hose was Volvo and thereafter replaced with like for like from eBay.

Just received a replacement Gates hose so I can best assume this is probably what I should have been replacing it with for my V60. Maybe the noticeable shape difference is what is needed?

My mistake? Maybe we’ll see when the hose is on the car

Was definitely my mistake, do NOT buy ‘like for like’ or replacement unbranded boost hoses on eBay 😂 even if they list the same part number
