XC60 2012 Rapidly loses communication with most modules
Hi
My Volvo XC60 D5 2012 rapidly and randomly (but very often) loses communication with most of the modules. When this happens, I get dozens of errors on the dash, related to dstc, airbags, brakes, cooling, transmission, power steering, etc. Also, my tachometer drastically jumps to zero and gets back to correct readings during the acceleration, especially when cornering. The transmission becomes pretty jerky, steering wheel occasionally is hard to rotate. Switching the car off and on makes the car drivable again and clears most of the errors, but they reappear soon after driving. Has someone else dealt with a similar issue? Is there any advice on where to look at the first stage? Thanks a lot in advance! I am attaching the VIDA report after clearing all the DTCs and when the issue(s) reappeared. The wheel hubs tilt a bit when cornering which affects a weak signal have a close look at those toothed rings or on later cars the magnetic rubber ring in the back of the wheel bearing. does the wheel sensor code point to any wheel in particular?

Clan, thanks a lot for your replies
I've tried to disconnect different modules from HS CAN, but with no success, errors still were throwing up. However, when I disconnect the fan radiator module, everything returns to normal. I wonder, how this module can switch the HS CAN down? |
