If you do 25000+ a year, it makes quite a difference still, and you don't then tend to have DPF issues either as the thing can have a good blow through whenever it feels like it.

That's true. Mind if i was doing 25000+ miles pa I would not want a new XC60/XC90 as the depreciation hit would be too much for me. I do half that and will keep my T5 about 6-7 years before I change.
