Engine choice?
I am changing my car laters this year. I currently have an 2017 XC60 D4 and looking to downsize slightly to the XC40. Looking at the current Spec, I will probably go for an R-Design with the climate pack. Without an option for another diesel, do I opt for the T3 or the B4P? If I opt for the T3 I could probably afford to add intelisafe.
Any thoughts or recommendations. Also if I test drive both, should I drive the T3 first?

I’m getting my T3 on Thursday, we test drove one for a day and were happy with it, mpg was okay around 39, not a fast as the b4 or D4, on pickup, but we’re not bothered about that. I suppose it depends on what you want from the car. Had an xc60 d4 a few years back, loved it but looking forward to having another Volvo.

I assume one engine will be better for the town and the other for the motorway driving.

My current lease runs out at the beginning of October so guess I need to place an order by the beginning of July.
Plenty of time to make a decision, test drive both engines and look for a good deal.

I have a T3 and am very happy with it. It's fine on motorways as well as around town. My previous car was a 2.0 litre Mercedes C Class, which had slightly better mid range acceleration, but no so much that it put me off buying the T3.
