Default Lumbar support

I am new to the forum having just joined the VOC. I recently took delivery of an XC40 Inscription Pro (MY21) and have been trying to work out how the lumbar support works. I have posted here rather than in the XC40 area as I have assumed that the lumbar support will be similar on most current Volvos with powered seats. My reason for wanting to know more is that when I get into the vehicle the previous lumber support which I set up appears to have disappeared and I have to set up the lumbar support again. My specific questions are

1. I know that there is a wire frame which is part of the lumbar support. Is there also an inflatable bladder which provides the actual support against the back or is the support provided by the wire frame? And if the lumbar support is provided by a wire frame, how does it do it?

2. Should the lumbar support settings be stored as part of the powered seat memory settings?
