Default T5 manual engine mount part numbers

Hi,

I did my lower gearbox mount last year, uprated to the E-Focus mount but the slackness has come back. I'm going to replace the other two mounts (I think there's just the two upper mounts?) Anyone able to tell me the part numbers please? And the best place to buy?

Thanks.

OK, so the part numbers are 31262676 right, 31316498 left.

106.80 and 103.20 respectively at Volvo dealer. Hopefully a little cheaper elsewhere. Does the Focus ST use the same mounts?

Hate leaving a thread unresolved....

2004 04 plate, Alex. Dealer gave me those numbers from the registration number.

I'm going to meet a mate with a Focus ST tonight to see if the Ford mounts are the same. I will then try Ford for prices, if they are.

Stu - I guess you're talking about the big upper mount near the Cambelt and the lower one under the battery tray? I think mine would benefit from new mounts too although I've already fitted the Focus RS mount at the lower rear.

I've seen a guide on Swedespeed I think on how to change the 'battery' side and it looks a right faff.....

Hi, Yes, those two mounts. I think technically the camber end is the "front" mount and the battery end is the "rear" mount. Like you, I already replaced the gearbox mount, in my case with the US Ford E-Focus mount.

I popped over to see a mate with a Focus ST yesterday to look at the mounts on his. The front mount certainly looks identical. The one under the battery was harder to see but could be the same. I'm going to pop in my local Ford dealer and see how much cheaper they are before buying. If they are the same I will post the Ford part numbers.

I bought an uprated Hardrace mount for the gearbox side. Fitted it. Started the car and knew immediately it was way too harsh!! After using the car for a day and hearing every noise from the gearbox I put the original mount back on.
I noticed that the Volvo dealer, using my VIN number, gave me the part number for the newer modified engine mount. But the the accompanying modified bracket it fastens to on the gearbox.
I decided in the end to leave the mounts until after my shocks were replaced which turns out was a good decision, as what I felt was excessive engine movement was exaggerated by the knackered shocks. The whole car felt baggy. Once the shocks were done I felt the engine mounts were OK. 2k miles further on and I'm quite happy with the mounts. All that to retain the same mounts!
