Default Battery dead/ Fob dead

I left the lights on and drained the car battery over the weekend whilst parked at the airport. Managed to get a jump start and all electrics fairly quickly restored to normal. Having gained entry with the detachable key to get started I then found that the locking and unlocking functions on the fob where not working and consequently side mirrors remained folded in (all had been working fine prior to parking up on Friday). Drove home without any problem and on arriving found that the spare/second fob works fine. Original fob still not working doors and mirrors but will start car. I am thinking it would be an amazing coincidence for the batteries in the fob to have gone dead at the precise same weekend and just wondered if anyone had any suggestions on rebooting the fob/car recognition. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted

Have you tried re-setting them menus for mirrors/doors and re-saving the seat positions with that key? Might be that it's returned to some sort of default setting as how the car was left.

Swap the batteries round in the fobs to rule out a dead battery first I would say.
