Default lights/ dash fault 1992 240 estate

One tail light, one side light and my dash lights have gone, dials and all other electrics work ok.
Fuses are ok,however,I'm told they could still be dodgy? Ideas please gents?

Unhappy failed lamps

I would carefully recheck fuses first, remove and look at them carefully. If ok refit and rotate them a couple of times to ensure a good connection. Check spade terminals are secure.
Then trace wiring to bulb failure sensor and check.

Is the bulb failure light on ? Got a similar problem with mine, failure light on when dash lights switched on but no other lamps faulty. Only happened after adjusting handbrake so obviously dislodged something under the handbrake cover. Most annoying !
regards, Richard.

The bulb failure relay itself can fail and take out lights. Follow linky for more information on bypassing / removing:
