Thing is, once you'd have got used to the 200bhp you'd realise it's not *that* fast, not compared to really fast motors... then you'd want more, and maybe you'd modify it then it'd be quicker but you'd get used to it again... then you'd want more, then you'd modify it then it'd be quicker but you'd get used to it again...
see the pattern emerging? Pete |

Yep I can see where you'r goin. If I am honest what attracted me to this particular T4 was the spec. Hi spec S40s are a bit thin on the ground here and boy do they cost. I have checked importing one from the UK but by the time you do the currency change and then the mind boggling VRT (Vehicle Import Tax) they charge here it works out more expensive. Plan B is to check out prices in the spring and see if I can get a nice 02 reg within my budget.

Hi marcon.
I traded my Volvo in to mitsibushi/Subaru garage and they are jsut selling it just now. It is a T4 cd, so has all the toys, I can vouch that all the electrics work and it had a full service history. Whilst I had it the timing belt was done and a new feul pump was put in. It only has 62,000 and they want £2,999. If you are interested It is in Fife Mitsibushi, either in the Cupar or Kirkcaldy branch. They have advertised it as a 2.0T but i can assure you that it is a 1998 S reg 1.9 T4. |

to swap or not to swap, that is the question
if your cars going excellento, stick with it squire.
you know its history for one thing. also, when renewing any car always go for the very newest you can afford,or you could just be substituting one set of problems for another. why not just wait for the big bills before making the jump |
