Question XC60 wheels on XC90

Hello,

Does anyoe know the rings/spacers I could use to convert the XC60 63.3mm diameter centerbore to 67.1mm from XC90? I also need a 10mm spacer to be with that converter plate so that the offset is right.

Thanks

Why would you want to go away from the vehicle's homologated spec?

It would not be legal in UK.

Render your insurance and warranty (if any) invalid

Just stay with the original spec. Far less hassle in the long run. Trust me

Just get 10 mm spacers for XC90 and they should do the trick... But as xTM has pointed out, not particularly a grand idea.

Having said that, most alloy wheels have a certain amount of play in them by design, and it certainly ain't illegal. The thing you seek is called a spigot ring.

So far as getting the offset right, then add spacers to the required width.

Ignore all that in wheat colour, brain mashed and got the dimensions the wrong way around.

XC90 V8 is based in the Netherlands according to his avitar, not sure how different the Dutch insurance companies are, but TBH, "Render your insurance and warranty (if any) invalid & It would not be legal in the UK" ... Total and utter old wives nonsense , the only items not covered or questionable would be bearings and half-shafts/drive shafts if it can be proved to cause the problem being claimed for, as to illegal ... your having a laugh, from the insurance companies pov, you just need to tell them and they will at worst make a financial loading or other exclusion on the policy. Should you choose to ignore that then the policy would be invalid, that may render you breaking the law re driving the vehicle. Fitting modified wheels being illegal .... Homologation , only applies to the manufacture of vehicles for sale in a specific geographic area, the second you drive out the showroom, its meaningless.
I agree why would you want to change, as there are so many people to tell and get agreement from its painful, but if your want to change it and its agreed with the relevent parties and meets the current/relevent road traffic acts, then go a head its your money ...... enjoy

If you're modifying it to go off-roaf get a good machine shop; they should be able to make up some spacers to the width you want.

If you're doing it for 'on-the-road' looks be careful and check its legal because if your wheels extend outside the line of the bodywork you might need the wheel arches extending under TUV regs etc

Sorry TruckbusUK I am not having a laugh! Having spent some 36 years in the motor vehicle manufacturing industry (note not a non franchised garage) I am only trying to forewarn that insurance companies will look for any excuse to wriggle out of paying a claim.
