No as in look more like the V40 with the updates.

Everything about that is better except the wavy shoulder line. The square line is one of Volvo's most recognisable traits on the current range. Seems daft to start diluting it.

I'm 99.999% sure the front will look similar to this:

That's the XC60 facelift posted here a week or two back. I think Volvo are just creating a face. I'm sure the grille will be a bit smaller, and maybe the DRLs will move a little.

Volvo has said that 2013 will be a very busy year and that most of the cars are getting facelifts etc. The S80/V70 are getting this same treatment:

I think the S80/V70 needed a bigger overhaul - but the interiors have really improved over the last 5 years or so, I believe.

The dashboards will probably all feature the new V40 speedo set up, which can be seen in the S60 spy shots posted earlier.

Can't say I'm thrilled about any of these restyles. I believe Peter Horbury wanted to get rid of the 'melted' look during his brief return.
