I know when I had my V40 T4 you could get a K&N or piper X induction kit, but to be honest unless your want the noise an induction kit, you'll kind the same benefit if you fit a performance panel filter, and you won't suffer from heat soak, I used induction kits in the past and to be honest only had them for the noise...

They sound good, but don't really do much, you can get the same sort of noise if you simply drill the unfiltered side of the airbox.

BSR supply various filters and, if you wish to remove the original air filter housing, the all important heat shield.

Good for sound but they nowt for performance. The stock airbox is well designed and and an induction kit is in most cases actually worse.

The only reason you should really get an induction kit is that you can wash them and reuse them vs a throw away paper filter.

I have a k&n cone filter on my T4 because the previous owner/muppet fitted a Ripspeed cone filter and threw the airbox lid away.
I got the K&N cone and made my own heatshield from a thin piece of ali which helps reduce heat soak greatly. |

If its a t4 drill the airbox, makes quite a difference and gives a good sound as you can hear the Turbo spooling up and I can hear the dump when you come off the throttle too.
