screen wiper linkage

Hi, I'm after the linkage for a v40 2002 windscreen wiper as my drivers side is all 'wobbly' . As folk are asking, in my opinion, far too much for them on ebay, was wondering if any other makes/models would fit, eg vauxhall cav, etc.

Try a Mitsubishi Carisma - these Volvos are 99% Carisma.

Is it wobbly because the black plastic surround around the shaft that the arm sits on is worn oval. One of mine was like that and I temp/permanent fixed it by
cutting a plastic strip, I think it was about 2cm deed, from a tough plastic bottle and wrapped it arm the shaft and pushed it down into the black plastic, you have to figure out the length required according to wear, and trim off any excess left poking out the top.

Not as good as a replacement part but mines been in for over 8kmls and still good.
