Just curious....
I saw this badge for sale on ebay and I've never heard of the model before.
Does anybody know what a '145 110' is? I'm guessing it's perhaps the 145S engine but with more basic trim? John |

Was it something to do with the load carrying capacity being higher as a sort of higher roof ambulance type 145 estate was made?

Baffling, although same badges are here, needs translating although it refers to 145 110th . Maybe 110 refers to an edition?

I think that "th" you're looking at is a error in google translation.
I'm more convinced now that it relates to power output; there is also a '142 105' according to this parts listing (list within main picture). http://www.websitefolder.net/vpautoparts/Emblems(2).asp |

Yes I saw that link.
Since you posted that badge I have been having a google and nothing concrete came up! We had a 145DL bought new in 1971. Many happy memories as a kid. Would love another nowadays |

Yes, saw these as well. Although it looks no different than a normal 145! Strange.

hp
It should refer to the engine power: 110hp. So it should be a 2-carb one. Don't ask me about the difference with a regular ' S' ...

Those badges r of a 110hp 1972 Volvo 145 De Luxe
I think they only sold them in Sweden there is a 105 badge for 1971 to The model is kinda a Sport (S) De luxe if it was only a Sport it would have had rubber carpet and cheaper upholstring. There are almost no Standard or Sports in sweden from 1971-72 most cars are the De Luxe or De Luxe 105,110 Erik in Sweden |
