Smile Passenger window won't shut

Hi
So all of a sudden my front passenger window has a life of its own. When I press the one button control function to close the window it shuts all the way then opens again. If I shut it by pressing the button bit by bit it will shut?

Any ideas?

Thank you

Try and hold the window switch up for about 10 seconds when it’s closed. Might work.

Or search ‘Volvo window calibration’ and you’ll find a you tube video showing how to do it by removing a fuse.

You could also lubricate the window rubbers with silicone spray. The windows have an anti-trap feature, if they detect too much resistance when closing they will reverse and open.

^this
Ensure window seals and edges are clean, and lubricate the rubber with a bit of silicon

Then try again

If still not refusing to sense the closed position, do the fuse removal of the door module method, that works always.

Question

Thank you, I cleaned all seals and sprayed it, that method didn't do it. The fuse removal did work briefly but when started engine it did old trick of not working again?

Reset again.

It's the end stop sensing that is not set correctly.

Update
I re did it again and it now works!

I think first time did it I pulled fuse out then let system re set then put back in.

Second time I opened window and whilst opening it pulled fuse out and repeated above and it worked.
