rear light access

please could somebody tell me how to access the rear lights the
boot trim seems to have no access flaps to get to the bulbs?

You open the access flaps.

i would i fi could see them but the boot trim at the rear appears to be one whole thing??

Unlike the V40 the S40 doesn't have access doors. Never having owned a S40 I am not familiar with the boot interior, but with the help of the attached instructions from the handbook and the car present it should be self explanatory.

Ah, my s40 t4 was a 1998 model which did have the access flaps, so another design masterstroke with the deletion of those flaps for the face lift model.
