New fuel tank
Hi,
I need a new fuel tank. It seems there are a couple of non-Volvo alternatives like Nordica, any recommendations here? Have yet to check if Volvo still have original ones available... Thanks Henrik

Most important thing is to paint it well so that the new one lasts

Rust-proofing is more important than painting. Cavity vax on top and Dinitrol black rubbery stuff on bottom. Thanks

I use Zinesser one coat black. I saw a builder put it on an old rust cast iron pipe and hopper head about 4 years ago and it still looks like he painted it yesterday.
