Smile An introduction

Hello!

I thought it best if I introduce myself, I'm not quite a Volvo owner yet, but I've put a deposit on a 2002 52 reg S40 1.9 (115) D Sport Lux.
I'll be picking it up next Saturday, so I'll post up some pictures for you all to have a look at, not that you've never seen an S40 before!

I've moved from a petrol Alfa 145 1.6, so I'm looking forward to the increase in torque, economy, build quality and reliability!

Looks like a good site you've got going here!

Cool

Cheers for the welcomes!

At the moment when I go to work it's dark and when I get home it's dark (those Xenons are great, though), so the only chance I get to take any pics of the car where you can see the colour best (it's dark blue with a purple tinge, don't know what it's called officially yet) are at the weekend.

I'll try and get some this weekend, but no promises as I'm moving house on Saturday!

Hello again chaps and chapesses.

I'm enjoying the car so far, those Xenon lights are brilliant (literally) and the torque of the TDCi engine is pretty good. I'll hopefully be getting it remapped by Angel Tuning soon, which will take the 115bhp up to 150 and the 265Nm of torque up to an earth spinning 325.

Here's a photo as promised, thought it'd be good to take the shot in the Volvo's natural habitat.
