XC90 Noise

Strange noise from under the front of the XC90, sounds like friction/rub noise rather than mechanical bearing. Checked under for debris, stones etc, no play in wheels, all brakes are fairly new, and in good order. Annoying sound, anyone have any ideas please ?

Check the brake backing plate area for a trapped stone or debris between the plate and disc, it is often a cause for this type of noise.

yes, done that,quite a low frequency noise for that type of thing.
