Default squeeking clutch

Hi all, I had a new clutch fitted to my volvo 740 gl last year, no problems other than a squeek when I depress the clutch pedal and only when the car it hot, it does not seem to be the release bearing when the clutch is fully depressed it makes no noise! Any ideas?

Cheers, Bob

Is the squeak still there when the engine is switched off? If so, it could be the 'fingers' on the pressure plate.

yep it only seems to get noisy when the engine is hot, noise is still there when the engine is off, does not seems to effect performance. the clutch was new about 5 months ago, noise onlt there for about last 6 weeks, I suppose I've just got to get used to it, noise sounds simular to a dry rubber bush on the suspension if you bounce to car on the fron end!

Cheers, Bob

Lack of a dab of grease on the release arm pivot or on the end of the
slave pushrod when the clutch was replaced? Perhaps the bearing on the clutch pedal.
