Brakes Juddering!!

Hey Guys

I am have some problems with my brakes. About 2 weeks ago whenever i stopped the brakes would make this huge juddering noise and i could feel it through the pedal and steering wheel. However, the juddering would go away if i put the car into neutral when stopped. I originally thought that it was my front brake pad as the back ones were changed about 1 month ago. I went to the mechanic last week and the front pads were fine but the discs needed machining. Get the car and the brakes were great - until one day later when it started playing up again. Went back again yesterday to get the back discs machined as they were fairly bad. Got the car and I thought that it was perfect until this morning when driving to work What do you think the problem could be??? Could of the mechanic possible machined the discs past the limit??? Any help appreciated!!!

Not bushes, bearings or similar?

The car'd have been jacked up to remove the discs, which couldve settled the suspension, etc into place then as you've driven it, theyve dropped back into how they were before again?

Could be the machining hasnt been done properly, or past the limits, but unless you drive like schumacher, one day seems quick to have them warp again?

Did you have the discs remachined to clean them up ? It could be the discs haven't been put back correctly. It could be the calipers are lose on the strut causing judder as the brakes are applied the caliper moves. Check the pads to see if the pins or springs have dropped out.

It won't happen in neutral because the car isn't moving, although if the car is moving and you put it into neutral and it stops sounds like the propshafts balance weights have dropped off (provided it has a propshaft) The balancing weights are simply fixed to the prop at manufacture (I have known owners to remove these and wonder why thier car makes horrid noises)

Also check wheel bearings springs.
