Can anyone advise me. I’ve got condensation in both headlights.

How bad? It is normal for some build up usually in damp conditions around the bottom edge of the lamp. It then clears relatively quickly or should do

Hi Graham
It’s round the perimeter of each headlamp. About 1” all round. We have had a lot of heavy rain in the last month. |

There might be a crack on the headlight lense, i also have a crack on one of them on the bottom, although never hit anything. Might be due to age. Not large though to cause condensation or any other trouble. Take the headlights out to inspect thoroughly, or might be the lense's seal that got weak and allow moisture to get in.

Water loves nothing more than a microscopic crack - capillary action is phenomenally good at pulling water even uphill against gravity. I'd run some silicon around the seal, or, even better, get some Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure (yes, it really is called that - comes from the boating world) and run that around the seal. It follows any cracks or weeps and seals it up tight. I have found it brilliant on car windows and on caravans.
Be careful though - it's really, really thin and viscous and goes everywhere if you're not careful...

If the condensation isn’t gone within a few dry days, there is probably a leak.
Sometimes the seal is leaking around some point of the lens, a crack in the headlight housing is also possible.. |
