No power showing at dash? (Amazon)
Can anyone help with a blind spot I may be looking past trying to re-commission my 220.
Engine has been out and an alternator fitted, but otherwise no other wiring changes. As I have it (and read the wiring diagrams) all I should need to do is: (1) connect the battery + along with 2 original Black lines (and a smaller green) to the starter? (2) connect the red and black to the original dynamo regulator onto the alternator terminals? Although I'm waiting on a decent terminal end for one of the lines to the starter, wiring this up I get nothing at the dash at all. Battery is good and new earth strap etc. I did clean up all fuse box terminals (one at a time so are in original place) I seem to get 13v+ showing either side of the stubby fuse....and guesses what I've messed up here?....I had the round and oblong relays off for painting the engine bay so could wiring those wrongly be a cause? thanks Jim |

Got it!.... Maybe I should check fresh paint isn't negating the new earth strap.
Sorry for the unnecessary panic. Jim |
