new and need help

hi all.... im new to this site after just getting my first volvo its a c70 2ltr lpt and im having problems already can anyone help me out here with advice on this car and this site would be great thanks andy

ah i see thanks for the reply. i have a gearbox light on my dashboard on and the eti i think light is also. i had it cheacked by two people the first said it was the throttle positoin sensor but the second said there is not one on this car and there is a fault with the airflow sensor. the limp mode has clicked on a couple of times. i have called volvo and they say i need to take it in as there is new software i need and the throttle body needs cleaning? do i really need this softwaer? my car is a c70 2ltr lpt 2000 model? also would like to know anyways of improving the performance on this car cheap? if anyone can help would be great thanks. also anybody who lives close to my area who can help with this car and give me some tips would be soooo great thanks. i have not been on a site like this befor and not sure how this forum works if someone could explane? do you have meets for owners? is there any shop info of surplyers and so on?
