S40 (New) Trim : - fog lights

just wanted to know how difficult it is to fit fog lights to an s model s40 that didnt have any from the start?

will i have to install new wiring or are the looms there that i can just plug into?

Had the same thoughts myself and asked a similar question a while back. Apart from the obvious lights and switch required, I believe all the necessary wiring is already there. But I was also advised, on here, that it may require a software update from a dealer so that the car knows they are there.

I haven't fitted any myself yet as I haven't been able to source a suitable switch, outwith going to a dealer, but do intend to if I ever find one.

Do you know if they're used by any other make / model? I need a set for an S40 (2005 model) and find the Volvo price very high...
