Talking Picking up my 06 V50 SE Sport .

Hi,i have never owned a Volvo before and after seeing that my 08 fiesta is slightly to small for my family to get in i am now p/x in it for a 06 V50 SE Sport 2.0 diesel .It has 95000 miles on the clock but has full serv history.
Do you think that is quite high mileage or still a baby for a Volvo diesel. Also is there anything i should be looking out for recalls /problems and the alike.
I cannot wait to get it.
Steve.

Seems quite high for a 3 year old car but if all the appropriate servicing has been done if should be OK.

Personally I would have a look around for a lower mileage example. It's a huge psychological barrier when a car goes over 100,000m and you're not that far from it. I've just bought a 2006 V50 2.0D Sport with just 32,000m for £11,488. Fantastic car, I love it!

I'm sure you would sell your Fiesta for a better price privately than px, people are always looking for small cars. Personally I'd sell it privately then go looking for a lower mileage V50 even if it is a year or so older. You also have to think of if and when you come to sell it on in the future a lot of people are put off by 100,000+ miles on a car.

On the other hand if you're not put off by high mileage and the servicing has been done regularly by a main dealer or a garage with Volvo expertise then go for it.
