Electric mirrors
Hello,
Has anyone had problems with the electric mirrors not actually moving when you move the switch ? Is their a common fault with them ? Are they both on the same fuse so I could just have a blown fuse ? They used to stick on a previous car (vauxhall ! apologies, I've learnet now) and you just need to push the mirror with your hand because they would stick if not used for a while. Cheers, Craig |

RE: Electric mirrors
If you can here the motor engaging it may be the small white plastic gearing that has broke. You have to replace the motor assembly if i remember what i purchased. Prise the mirror outfrom nearest the door carefully and see how you stand in what actually works.

RE: Electric mirrors
Try pushing the mirror in the correct direction with your fingeer when operating the switch to see if the gearing's in place but needs some help.
If so, a good clean and WD-40 may be all it needs. |

RE: Electric mirrors
Hello,
Checked the mirrors further at the weekend. No sound of a motor and pushing at the same time has no affect. Nothing wrong with the fuse, so I guess it's new motors ? Dosen't look a long job in the haynes manual, but it's still under warranty anyhow. Cheers, Craig |
