Volvo 240 GL Estate For sale 7 seat 128k
Volvo 240 GL Lots more photos can be seen here https://www.flickr.com/photos/939280...7644356301324/ This is my Volvo 240 that is now for sale, she is a 1990 GL 2ltr 5 speed manual, 128k, 2 owners. I have owned, worked on and rebuilt 240s most of my life and I know them quite well, I know where they rot and I can say this is a good one! she has never been welded and does not need any now, the body and structure is very sound for her age with only minor marks/scratches typical for age. She has only done 128k and engine is healthy (I have done a compression test and all were very good) and sounds fine when running. gearbox/axle etc all good, inside is good for age, clean and tidy and looks nice in black cloth and has the 7 seat option. She has been stored under cover for the last 10 years as needed a bigger car for towing reasons so this was parked up with the idea that it was there if/when needed. I like the 240s and sad to let her go but space needed. This would make a very easy project for someone, a weekend or 2 would see her on the road, I have had a good look around and under and from what I can see for Mot she needs Tyre's, brake pads and possibly brake flexies, and just a general look over like new set of plugs and timing belt would be a good idea. I have given it a oil change and starts and runs/drives fine. I may be able to help with delivery if required I keep doing bits and pieces to her and i may MOT it myself at some point but dont really have the time, I could break it for parts but it seems a shame to brake such a solid example. Any questions let me know Cheers £600 |
