Not one, but two this week.

Wednesday morning at 7:30, a very tidy white "F"-plate 240GLT saloon at the top of the Wilderspool Causeway in Warrington.

Thursday morning at about 9:30 a red 240GLT estate on the dual carriageway just by the Cockhedge shopping centre in Warrington.

A seemingly well-used red estate near Camelford this afternoon.

Default Cornish strawberry & cream

JUst back from a few days down in St. Austell with Sigyn and saw a very nice red, foglight-equipped 240GLT saloon twice in two days - the first time it was leaving ASDA's car park on the Monday evening, and the next day it was heading towards Mevagissey. The reg was "GxyzBAY", and I think it belongs to a Forum member.

The other sighting was in Truro, of an F-plated 245DL in that buttery-cream colour, on Wednesday afternoon.

Hope you had a good time, though the weather left a bit to be desired.

Cornwall's doing quite well lately, this one was in Trago Mills car park on Saturday morning:

The red 240 GLT saloon in Cornwall was me, registration G490BAY. This is the second time the car has been spotted since I bought it back in March this year! The first time was in Essex where we live and this time we were on holiday staying just outside St Austell. We arrived home yesterday evening having done around 1000 miles in the last week!

BAY looks lovely, would love to have spotted it.

It was better than Asgard's - apparently there was a LOT of rain and the river took over one of the town centre roads. Sigyn was happy enough - she spent a day at the Eden Project.

We'll be back next year for a few days, but it'll have to be with the modern diesel box again, since neither the Valdez nor SFSS is economical enough.

We've certainly been reasonably fortunate in the SW compared with much of the country, and when the weather isn't good for being outside there are plenty of suitable attractions such as Eden to enjoy. They're not always cheap though especially if you have a family. Hope you didn't discover a flooded home when you got back.

Is there a prize for the most sighting? I'm sure I'm in the running - saw another today, on the A390 going west towards Lostwithiel. It was J reg., looked quite shiny, and the driver waved, which was nice.
